Painting

After working primarily in clay for over ten years, I started to yearn for something different. I really wanted to paint. I had a solo exhibit on the horizon where I was to feature my clay work, only days before the opening, I decided to get out the paintbrushes instead. The rest, as they say, is history! I really enjoy the nervous anticipation when faced with a blank canvas, and then the satisfaction and wonder at what it becomes.
